Kenton Loewen is mainly known as a heavyweight improvising drum man. He currently performs with projects such as Gord Grdina’s Haram, Marin Patenaude and past projects include Dan Mangan + Blacksmith and Mother Mother.


His new album will be coming out on Drip Audio in 2024 and will feature his songs with guest appearance by Marc Ribot (Tom Waits, John Zorn, etc.) on guitar and Matt Robertson (Björk, Anohni) on keyboards. This album was produced by Jesse Zubot and recorded during the Covid Lockdowns in Bowser, BC.
